Accredited Certification Scheme:
The Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) is an industry recognised and mandatory entry route for gas engineers to attain the necessary qualifications and competence required to work under the Gas Safe Register. ACS covers various work categories and requires you to complete an ACS assessment to prove competence in each category. ACS gas courses must be renewed every 5 years to remain a member of the Gas Safe Register. ACS Training and Assessment is available for both initial and re-assessment candidates.
DOMESTIC GAS FOUNDATION MLP
- Theory and practical training and assessments covered by ‘in-centre’ plus ‘on the job’ training to provide work based evidence under the supervision of a Gas Safe registered engineer.
- In-centre tuition is trainee-centred & is available each Monday and Tuesday, by arrangement, with attendance being flexible.
- On successful completion of the training, portfolio and assessments a BPEC Gas Foundation certificate is issued which provides MLP entry to ACS assessments (eg CCN1, CENWAT).
- BPEC portfolio & 1st Class Energy training manuals are provided
